The AVK - Industrievereinigung Verstärkte Kunststoffe e.V. (Federation of Reinforced Plastics) is now requesting nominations for the 2011 AVK Innovation Award in the 'industrial', 'environmental', and 'university' categories.
Since 1995, the AVK has been presenting this prestigious award for outstanding innovations in the composites industry.
The Innovation Award is to promote solutions to state-of-the-art technological issues by means of fibre reinforced plastics, to highlight the ecological achievements of our industry, and to encourage academic research into reinforced plastics.
The awards will be presented during the International AVK Conference on 26-27 September, 2011 at the ICS International Congress Center
