Zentralbahn was looking for a single-source contractor to take over all its cleaning services. SBB Passenger Operating rose to the challenge, submitted an attractive bid, and was awarded the contract. Since SBB is attending Innotrans 2012, the two companies signed the contracts in Berlin on 20 September 2012.
As the single-source contractor, SBB will take over all cleaning and marshalling services for rolling stock as well as workshop and office cleaning - a new offering in SBB's product range.
