Coinciding with its 2008 Congress, held in Malta last week, CEPIC, The Coordination of European Picture Agencies Press Stock Heritage has begun distribution of the current edition of its directory, now called ITI - Image Trading International.
With around 200 pages packed with useful information and a minimum guaranteed print run of 5,000 copies, this true "Guide to the International Image Industry" includes an up-dated CEPIC Directory of Members for 2008 - 2009 and lists the Complete Delegate Companies from the recent CEPIC Congress Florence 2007.
"It is full of reference articles and attempts to foresee the future", said Alan Smith, President of CEPIC, when presenting this newly named directory to the industry gathered in Malta.
Copies of ITI will now be selectively distributed to CEPIC members and other industry players, who handle more than 80% of the world's traded images, but also worldwide as the delegates from more than 50 countries at the CEPIC Malta Congress are given a copy.
Distribution plans addressing the picture buyers are being enhanced and copies of the ITI will be widely and selectively distributed to picture buyers across all sectors notably at the next Frankfurt Bookfair, at PICTA, at the BAPLA Picture Buyers Fair and at other similar events around the world. Copies are also being made available to the EU Commission, to copyright lawyers, to industry suppliers, accountants, distributors, software specialists, security systems suppliers, the World Intellectual Property Organisation and to the industry trade press.
