At their Annual General Meeting in Basel today, shareholders of Highlight Communications AG representing a record 72% of share capital, resolved a dividend of CHF 0.17 - CHF 0.02 higher than that proposed by the Board of Directors and the dividend paid in the previous year.
The Board of Directors' motion to create authorized capital was carried. The Board of Directors of Highlight is therefore authorized to raise its share capital rapidly for the purpose of implementing investments and takeovers, etc.
The current, long-standing members of the Board of Directors, Bernhard Burgener, Martin Wagner, Dr. Ingo Mantzke, Martin Hellstern and René Camenzind were re-elected. Three new representatives of Highlights major shareholder - EM.Sport Media AG - were also elected to the Board of Directors. These are Werner Klatten, Erwin Conradi and Antonio Arrigoni.
