The advantage of a dedicated internet portal is that the contents can be updated on an ongoing basis”, said Jürgen Fischer, Head of Sustainability Management at Munich Re. “Sustainability is a core part of the Munich Re Group's long-term corporate strategy. We have been reporting on our activities in this area for a long time and are now considerably extending the information on all topics related to our sustainability approach, which combines the three areas of economy, ecology and social responsibility.”
The new internet portal features numerous Munich Re Group projects and performance indicators related to sustainability. These include corporate governance, innovative insurance solutions, climate neutrality, environmental management, employee benefits and social commitment.
