True to its name, the Design Line provides the Grandland X with an even more stylish look – the roof and the side door mirrors in diamond black along with the 18-inch multi-spoke alloy rims emphasise the dynamic appearance of the athletic SUV. The dynamic theme is also continue in the interior. The driver has everything under control with the leather steering wheel including steering wheel remote control; acceleration and braking are controlled via the aluminium sports pedals.
However, the Opel Grandland X Design Line is not only an eye-catcher – it is also practical and comfortable. Features such as speed limiter with Intelligent Speed Adaptation, Hill Start Assist, Lane Keep Assist and Speed Sign Recognition are joined by other top technologies such as Advanced Park Assist or the Panoramic Rear View Camera that increases the angle of sight behind the car to 180 degrees as standard. In additional, standard front fog lights help ensure best possible visibility in adverse conditions.
Flexibility of the loading area is guaranteed by the 60:40 split of the FlexFold rear seat back. Furthermore, the central armrest in the rear can double as a load through possibility for long items. The boot itself has two-way adjustable floor in this configuration.
The Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatible Radio R 4.0 IntelliLink also comes as standard. The modern infotainment system brings the world of smartphones into the car while ensuring easy access via the seven-inch colour touchscreen or via voice control.
For the entry level price of €28,500 the Opel Grandland X Design Line comes with the 96 kW/130 hp, 1.2-litre direct injection turbo-charged petrol unit which is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Naturally, the ultra-modern three-cylinder engine is fitted with a particulate filter enabling the vehicle to already meet the stringent Euro 6d-TEMP emissions standard. The SUV challenger can achieve a top speed of 188 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 10.1 seconds (Fuel consumption 1.2 Direct Injection Turbo[1] urban 6.1 l/100 km, extra-urban 4.9-4.8 l/100 km, combined 5.3-5.2 l/100 km, 121-120 g/km CO2, efficiency class B).
