Der NABU kritisiert seit langem, dass auf vielen Feldern ausschließlich Mais angebaut wird - Jahr ein Jahr aus. Der traditionelle Fruchtfolgewechsel findet vielerorts nicht mehr statt. "Wer Mais auf Mais auf Mais anbaut, schafft ein Schlaraffenland für Maiswurzelbohrer. Wollte man diese Käfer züchten, müsste man genau dasselbe tun", erklärt der NABU-Landeschef
