Lars Hille assumes responsibility for the bank´s equities and private customer securities service (in particular for certificates), as well as for trading and research. Wolfgang Köhler is responsible for fixed income and treasury operations as well as process management in the investment banking business. Both will work together to develop the DZ BANK Group´s private banking activities for the Cooperative Financial Services Network.
Lars Hille was previously head of DZ BANK´s Capital Markets Retail and Equity Clients´division and had an important part in building up the bank´s certificate business. DZ BANK is among the leading providers in the German market in this segment. In addition, Lars Hille played a significant role in developing the DZ BANK Group´s product and distribution activities in the Private Clients division. He has worked for DZ BANK since 1998, initially for its predecessor bank DG Bank. Previous career positions include Deutsche Börse AG (1993-1997) and Mummert & Partner (1991-1993). In 1990 he successfully completed his course of studies in business economics in Berlin and Kiel and received the academic title of Diplom-Kaufmann.
Wolfgang Köhler was previously spokesman of the management of DZ BANK International S.A. in Luxembourg. Among other things, since 2003 he had been responsible for developing the DZ BANK Group´s private banking activities. He had previously worked in various functions for DZ BANK and its predecessor banks, in particular as long-standing head of the Treasury division. After completing a bank apprenticeship at the Genossenschaftliche Zentralbank AG in Stuttgart, he went on to study information science and industrial engineering in Karlsruhe, where he received the academic title of Diplom-Wirtschaftsingenieur. He also bears the title of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
