The "factor one" 150 Kilo / 150 Horsepower "Chronos" Racebike is a tribute for the 2008, 25th anniversary celebration of the Buell Motor Corporation. It use a mix from old proofed technics, like the underengine suspension, with some new ideas for optimized traction and maximum mass centralisation at minimized weight. The "Chronos" Bike is the lightest and strongest aircooled Buell Roadracebike ever.
Engine:
Buell XB RR Productionracer (only 50 builded), 1350cc, 150 HP.
Powered by M-TeK Engineering.
Full datasheet here: http://www.hillbilly-motors.com/...
Chassis:
XB "fuel in" Frame cleaned from brackets and rightside opened to support cooling air to the rearcylinder. Also rightside frame still carry fuel! Integrated breathercan for enginebreathers.
"Oil in" swingarm (special builded) with breather reservoir for the gearbox.
Suspension:
Reverse operated rearshock under the engine like on the old Buell Tubeframers, (S1 or X1 style) to add cooling air to the shock. BKG Triples
Controls:
Magura mastercylinders. BKG footpegs and clipons. ZTL² 8 piston frontcaliper (like Buell 1125R) with additional cooling scoop on the frontfender. Rearbrake on the chainsprocket to give room to add the sensorplate for the tractioncontrol on the other wheelhubside (better precision than using the brakedisc).
Hydraulic operated Mobiltech Antihopping Dryclutch with primary Beltdrive(original Triplex Chain in Oil).
Others:
-Startnumber 83 (year BMC is founded) with backround "25" anniversary airbrush
All parts (except monocoque) unpainted to save weight.
Optimized riders position for maximum control and minimum wind resistance (tailsection build to allow the rider to slip back on the fast straights).
