Opel Combo Life: Compact, spacious and versatile
Converted into a wheelchair accessible vehicle by AMF-Bruns, the Combo Liferemains a practical car with five or even seven seats in the XL version. The large opening makes access particularly comfortable for wheelchairs. The aluminium ramp (standard equipment) is supported by gas-filled struts. Optionally available is the patented EASYFLEX ramp, which quickly and easily turns into a load surface, allowing unrestricted use of the boot.
Opel Zafira Life: New family van with loads of possibilities
RETTmobil-debutant, the Opel Zafira Life is also available with a wheelchair conversion from AMF-Bruns featuring a modified rear area and lowered floor well. Wheelchairs enter the vehicle via the all-aluminium ramp (standard equipment). The Zafira’s trademark versatility is retained, even after the conversion. AMF-Bruns offers the conversion for the medium and large-sized versions of the Zafira Life seven-seater.
Opel’s hat-trick of wheelchair accessible vehicles is completed by the Movano. The rear lowers towards the ground, which makes entry especially easy for wheelchairs. After the ramp is retracted and the rear door closed, the rear rises again automatically.
In addition to the vehicles converted for wheelchair access, Opel is also showing conversions such as the Grandland X as emergency car or a Movano-based fire brigade vehicle with crew cab. Also, with models like the Insignia, Opel has a long tradition as partner of fire brigades, emergency services and governmental authorities.
