A Falcon 900B has been flying for a private customer for more than 4 years under the control of ProAir, and now in addition there is a brand new Falcon 7X. Besides flight and crew planning, catering, and obtaining the over-flight and landing rights, ProAir also takes care of the complete handling and operational services of the aircraft. For the customer this means one thing: service from one direct source!
The Falcon 7X (originally Falcon FNX) is a business jet of Dassault Aviation.
It is the first business jet with fly-by-wire control technology, a flight control system which is already in common use by commercial aircrafts for example Airbus A320.
The new type of aircraft, which has been completely developed using Computer Aided Design technology on a virtual drawing board, was first presented at the international air show in Paris, France. Having received 165 orders from 33 countries prior to the first delivery, this type of aircraft seems certain to be very successful. Dassault is scheduled to market between 400 and 500 Falcon 7X jets. The break-even point for sales of this aircraft, which costs around 50 million US Dollars, is 300. The Dassault Aviation Group received the licence for the Falcon 7X from the American and European Aviation Administration on 27 April 2007. The owner of one of the first Falcon 7X jet has already been in negotiations with several European companies with regard to aircraft management.
The evaluation of all references, impressions and experiences that ProAir was able to convey to the owner has resulted in the total order for flight operation, maintenance and crews. "This expensive jet is now among the company aircraft that we already take care of, and is a new highlight and further motivation for our performance in this branch of industry" says Managing Director Elmar Monreal.
