- Dividend increase to 95 euro cents

As expected, the shareholders of the publicly listed Semperit AG approved the consolidated financial statements as presented at the 119th Annual General Meeting. In the light of the positive earnings situation, Semperit AG Holding will distribute a dividend to its shareholders amounting to 95 euro cents per share, in accordance with the motion approved by the Annual General Meeting yesterday. This corresponds to a dividend distribution ratio of about 44% of the paidup share capital. Ex-dividend day is on May 26, 2008, with payment of the dividend scheduled as of May 30, 2008.
On February 1, 2008 Karl Schmutzer resigned as member of the Supervisory Board. He will be succeeded by Winfried Braumann. Karl Weisskopf, who resigned as member of the Supervisory Board with the formal conclusion of the 119th Annual General Meeting, will be succeded by Andreas Schmidradner.
The Supervisory Board session held immediately after the Annual General Meeting elected Veit Sorger to assume the position of Chairman of the Supervisory Board. Walter Lederer keeps the position of the Vice-Chairman.
